Over the last few years I’ve been involved in managing the AV for a mid sized tech conference. In 2016 they decided to invest in gear instead of renting it every year. This is not always the best option, especially if you literally only use it once a year, but the plan was to try to use it several times a year at smaller conferences or rent it out to other conferences to use. After many hours of research and digging through google page after google page to get specs and make sure we had what we needed, we ordered the gear.

Now that Joomla 3.7 has finally dropped, you may be wondering what exactly is in there and are there any major issues with this upgrade.

Every November, a group of Joomla! developers, site builders, designers and enthusiasts join together for the Joomla World Conference. This years conference is in downtown Vancouver, BC, Canada. There are quite a few great reasons to attend the Joomla World Conference, here 5 we think are important.

The short answer is yes, but with a few caveats. There are two big issues you may run into while upgrading, so we thought a blog post about it would be a good way to inform site owners about what they might run into with the new 3.5 update.

While basic websites can still be built using a traditional layout program and uploaded to your server from a computer, we build database driven sites. The benefit of this is once we've created the structure, changes can be made through a web interface. But that structure does still require some tools. Here are a few of the tools we use.
